To calculate Resistance Density, determine the resistance of the heater (voltage squared divided by wattage). Then divide the resistance figure by the area of the heater in inches. If the result exceeds the green area of the chart, either 1. Lower voltage, 2. Increase wattage, or 3. Increase size of heater.
