TurboFlex History

TurboFlex Heaters originated in 2013 when the owners of our company entered the countertop heater business with a product line called FeelsWarm Technology.  Solving the problem of granite and stone countertops feeling cold to the touch, the company began producing custom shaped, large-format foil heaters (often more than 5 square feet each) to attach to the underside of stone surfaces.

To meet the tight schedules of home builders and renovators, the company needed to develop the capabilities to design and manufacture custom heaters in 2-3 days.  Furthermore, the heaters would be unique, the customers would only purchase just one, and it had to be a consumer affordable solution despite the large size.

As the company grew, it began marketing this same capability of producing custom flexible heaters in ultra-fast turn time into the traditional flexible heater market where designers and engineers had the need to obtain flexible heaters in a few days and not pay thousands of dollars.

The offering, called TurboFlex Heaters, was ideal for new product development activities and early stages of design and prototyping.  TurboFlex has now expanded its fast turn low cost fabrication capabilities to include medium and higher volume projects so that customers can continue using TurboFlex as their project volume rises.

With today’s general expectations of an ‘amazon-like’ purchase process, customers want product in days regardless of whether it is custom designed or not.  And they want an easy purchase method.  Our TurboFlex business model is just that – because it is what we have done all along.
